Virtual Business Workshop CD-ROM
A Virtual Business Workshop CD-ROM (Publication 3700)
is a CD ROM program in the format of a workshop, yet offers the ability
to select the items you want to view by menu and gives you the option
of repeating, pausing, or viewing only selected segments. These features
are available with closed-captioning capability in English, Spanish, and
Mandarin Chinese.
This CD-ROM consists of six topics taught by IRS instructors:

2. Payroll taxes
3. Electronic filing and payment
4. Business expense deductions
5. Record keeping
6. Our small business website
It requires no special installation. Just put it in the
CD Drive and it will "auto start."
The segment on electronic filing and payment will be
of use whether you are a sole proprietor, partner, or corporate owner.
It explains how you can use the EFTPS system for virtually any type of
tax payment. The on-line capability mentioned as a future enhancement
is now available.
The links and reference sources section at the end is
another valuable tool for the small business owner. It lists both the
names and numbers of the publications that are most helpful for small
business owners.

The Small Business Resource Guide, CD-ROM 2002 (Publication
3207) provides critical tax information to small businesses including
forms, instructions, and publications. It has a wealth of information
for small business owners. There are sections on writing a business plan
and finding financing for your business. The CD also provides valuable
business information from a variety of government agencies, non-profit
organizations, and educational institutions. The CD contains essential
startup information needed by new small businesses in order to be successful.

laptop computer.
