What Is
The U.S. Blue Pages Program? The U.S. Blue Pages program
is devoted to helping you connect with your federal government agencies and services.
The U.S. Blue Pages is funded by the federal government and administered by the
U.S. General Services Administration, Federal Technology Service. The U.S. Blue
Pages is a multi-agency effort that establishes a standard, easy-to-use format
for acquiring key federal telephone listings. The effort includes gathering, validating
and formatting information for publication in local telephone directories and
this website. What's New? - Comprehensive
search capabilities to easily find phone numbers when searching for listings by
key words, city, state, and zip code.
- More information about federal
services and how to connect to them
- Quick links to the most frequently
requested federal sites
- A virtual help desk that will respond to
your email questions within 72 hours
- Hiawatha Software's AccVerify
approval for Federal Regulation 508 compliance. Section 508 requires that Federal
agencies' electronic and information technology is accessible to people with disabilities.
How the U.S. Blue Pages are funded
The U.S. Blue Pages uses very little of the taxpayer dollars.
In fact, if every citizen in the U.S. had the official U.S. Blue Pages listings
in his or her local telephone directory, it would cost just a few pennies per
person. Better yet, many of the telephone book publishers provide the listings
as a free public service. The U.S. Blue Pages also save taxpayer dollars by coordinating,
streamlining and improving federal listings.
