Good health starts with asking questions and knowing where to go for the answers. Nurse Hotline can help members take an active part in managing their health care by providing toll-free telephone access to experienced registered nurses, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our hotline nurses are an immediate, reliable, and caring source of health and medical information, education, and support. The information from the hotline can prevent unnecessary trips to the emergency room, assist Premium members in choosing self-care measures and communicating with health-care providers, and offer guidance for difficult situations.

·	Receive help with over 1,000 topics regarding medical situations and general information on all types of medical concerns.	Very Important: In life-threatening emergencies, call 911 or go directly to the nearest hospital emergency room for treatment. If 911 is not available in your area, call the police/fire department or go directly to the nearest hospital or emergency room.
·	Gain access to self-care information and solutions based on 400 physician-approved guidelines.
·	Learn more about prescription and over-the- counter medication usage and interaction.
·	Receive information on nonmedical support groups from a comprehensive national database.
·	Have peace of mind knowing that there is a full-time medical director on staff.
